Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson is not only seen as the consensus No. 1 player at his position, but some view him as the best overall player in the entire league right now. The NFL’s 2012 MVP and Comeback Player of the Year vaulted himself into the conversation of the greatest running backs in NFL history last year as he came just eight yards short of Eric Dickerson’s 1984 single-season rushing record and managed to carry the entire team on his back to the playoffs in the process just eight months after reconstructive knee surgery. He’s now featured on the Wheaties box, which will hit stores next week. (via @DarrenRovell)   In six seasons, Peterson, 28, has rushed for 8,849 yards and 76 touchdowns on 1,754 carries (5.0 YPC) and racked up 177 receptions for 1,526 yards and four scores since entering the league as a first round pick (No. 7 overall) out of Oklahoma in the 2007 NFL Draft.
