On Monday, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was taken to the hospital after an allergic reaction to seafood.
The Vikings called 911 after Peterson was described as suffering from shortness of breath and swelling in the face. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance where he was treated and later released.
“We had to rush him to the hospital, they diagnosed him and he is back at the dorm resting,” coach Leslie Frazier said to Joe Oberle of CBSSports.com. “He's doing fine. He will pick back up with his rehab Tuesday. Everything is back to normal now. A little bit of a scare, but he is fine.”
Peterson should be back to practice on Tuesday.
