Vikings running back Adrian Peterson found himself stuck in a hospital room on New Year’s eve following surgery to repair his torn ACL, which doesn’t make for a very great way to ring in the new year.  But Peterson showed us all how to make the best of a bad situation by hosting his own private little shindig right there in his hospital bed, complete with noise makers, funny hats, and tasty ice cream.

Celebrating the start of 2012 in a depressing hospital room would be bad enough, but doing it alone would be worse.  Luckily Peterson didn’t have to worry about being all by his lonesome on this New Year’s Eve…

Guaranteed that Adrian Peterson’s party had less vomiting, bad decisions and regret than about 99% of the New Year’s eve bashes that the rest of us attended.
