In his introductory conference call on Thursday, the Patriots' newly acquired safety Adrian Wilson answered questions from the media. Questions ranged from how he landed in Foxboro to how he plans on prying his favorite jersey number from new teammate and fellow DB, Kyle Arrington.

- "Whenever coach Bill Belichick calls, you answer. Obviously being able to compete every year, able to play not only for the playoffs, play for the division, but a chance to play in the Super Bowl"- "At the end of the day I want to come in and compete with everyone else, I have no trouble with that. Coach Belichick was very up front with me."
Originally there were reports that although Wilson was fielding offers from around the league, his preference would be to stay on the west coast.
