AFC Drama Escalates

Right now, the top five seeds in the AFC are as follows: the Texans, the Ravens, the Patriots, the Broncos, and the ever-stubborn Steelers. To make it more exciting, all of these teams won in Week 14. Another thing to add to that is the only team who had a smooth, easy game this week was the Ravens. They easily disposed of the winless Indianapolis Colts at home Sunday afternoon 24-10, in another impressive and dominating performance on all sides of the ball. The Texans (who clinched their division and more importantly a playoff berth for the first time in franchise history), Patriots, and Broncos all had to orchestrate incredible late-game comebacks, and the Steelers struggled heavily against the Browns on Thursday night, avoiding a scare and winning 14-3. The Texans completed an amazing comeback victory as quarterback T.J. Yates threw a six-yard touchdown pass to an uncovered Kevin Walter to edge Cincinnati 20-19 as time expired.
