Another week in the NFL is in the books on the young 2012 season and already we have seen some monster performances, as well as spectacular let downs. The AFC saw dominating wins from the likes of the Houston Texans and the Miami Dolphins, so it should come as no surprise that they both featured a player that was named an AFC Player of the Week on each side of the ball.
On the offensive side of the ball, Reggie Bush, who I wrote about in greater detail yesterday, continued to turn his career around with a USC-like performance against the Oakland Raiders that has the highlight reel going into overdrive once again. With 172 yards on 25 carries, Bush put the exclamation mark on his day with a video game type run that, if you haven’t seen, you must be living under a rock.
His two touchdown runs of 23 and 65 yards seem to be playing on loop over at the worldwide leader, and deservedly so. They were pretty electric. The 172 yards rushing was good for the best total numbers on the ground ...

While saying the HBO series is "a great show," Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush said having cameras around all the time did the team no favors.
Reggie Bush's knee problem may not be a major issue for the Miami Dolphins.
Bush tweeted on Monday that he ''received some great news,'' one day after leaving the Dolphins' game against the New York Jets late in the first half with a left knee injury.
The Dolphins have not issued any official updates on Bush's status. They said he was ''questionable...
Their performances in the Miami Dolphins blowout win on Sunday might just get 2 offensive players their first NFL awards of the 2012 season. The Miami Dolphins rebounded nicely after a rough opening week loss to the Texans. The Dolphins played an even first half against the Raiders before Reggie Bush and Ryan Tannehill led them to a blowout win in the second half. The Dolphins season seemed lost after the blowout loss to the Texans, whom many ‘experts’ [...]
HOUSTON You expected the Houston Texans team that lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs would come back better this season. Matt Schaub would be the quarterback instead of T.J. Yates. Andre Johnson would be fully healthy. Instead of Jacoby Jones the Texans would have someone who was less of a knucklehead. Mario Williams didn't play in the game anyway.
So, yes, the Texans...
Miami running back Daniel Thomas has passed concussion tests and was back at practice on Wednesday.Fantasy Spin:Rookie Lamar Miller served as Reggie Bush's backup last week, but neither Miller or Thomas has any fantasy value while Bush is playing at such a high level.
With week 2 all wrapped up and many of us most likely behind in our weekly picks as there were a lot of upsets, hopefully the same does not go for your fantasy team. If this isn’t the case, hopefully I can give you some insight as I present to you my top 5 half backs going into week 3.
5. Reggie Bush
This pick is quite the gamble as Bush will go against a good...
With his sights set on this upcoming Sunday's AFC East clash with the Miami Dolphins, the man they call Mayhem Maybin is gearing up to contain Reggie Bush in the heat of South Beach.
The Miami Dolphins picked up their first win of 2012 with their 35-13 romping of the Raiders on Sunday. The Dolphins got a solid effort out of Ryan Tannehill, who notched his first NFL victory. Coach Joe Philbin also picked up his first victory as an NFL head coach. Reggie Bush was the star of [...]

The Texans dominated offensively and defensively. The Jaguars were stuffed, managing only 117 total yards – 32 yards coming on one pass play. Gabbert was limited to a miserable 53 yards passing.
The Jaguars had no answers...
