Yesterday the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Greg Jones, a sixth-round pick of the Giants in 2011, actually opened his rookie year as a starter. But he was quickly demoted, finished out the year as a special teamer and was then released at final cuts. Jones will be depth behind Paul Posluszny in Jacksonville.
This is huge news for Greg Jones, who had a workout earlier this year with Detroit Lions. Greg Jones was signed by Jacksonville after putting on a few great games in the UFL. So there the UFL at least helped one person before going under.

Alfie Crow is on to something
Early on in my still-young blogging career, I wrote for SBNation's Big Cat Country. The lead manager there, Alfie Crow, is one of the more opinionated Jaguars writers out there, including print newspapers, Jaguars.com, etc. I often disagree with him, but his recent piece detailing why the Jaguars will likely gear up for Gabbert again in 2013 is dead on.
Blaine Gabbert...

They will also pick off Blaine Gabbert twice and they will get 10-15 points.

JDub's Fantasy Football Week 11 Predictions -- Running Back
Arian Foster is a must-start every week, obviously. Against this weak Jacksonville Jaguars defense, who average giving up 135 rushing yards a game, expect a big 100+ yard game for Arian. LeSean McCoy is someone who is your first pick and you were looking for him to do better than he has with a disappointing 700 yards and only two touchdowns in nine games. Now he has added in...
