Ahmad Bradshaw did not waste any time putting his name into free agent circulation after being let go by the New York Giants.

He may have earned two Super Bowl rings with the Giants but that does not mean he will rule out a stint with their in-city nemesis the New York Jets.

  • I just hope the Giants running game is good next year. This past year it was not although David Wilson looks like he could develop into a star.
  • That would mean he would go from the team in New York with the Crowns to the team in New York with the Clowns....I just don't see it happening.

Ahmad Bradshaw says the 2012 Giants thought games would be handed to them

According to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger, former Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw told the NFL Network’s  NFL AM  the 2012 Giants thought games would be handed to them. “Everybody seemed to think the season would come together in one game,” he said. “We didn’t have the chemistry we had the year before… We didn’t play together, take advantage of the opportunities...

Ahmad Bradshaw: Giants thought games would be handed to us

The New York Giants released Ahmad Bradshaw last week, and it’s a mystery how many potential suitors are going to line up for the oft-injured running back this offseason. Bradshaw had his ups and downs in New York last year, but the season ultimately ended in disappointment as the Giants missed the playoffs. One of the issues with that team, he says, was a sense of entitlement...

New York Giants Releasing Ahmad Bradshaw: A Bold, Questionable Move

The New York Giants are definitely making some noise and breaking news this off-season by releasing their star running back Ahmad Bradshaw last week. They didn’t even give it much time after the Super Bowl was over to do it. I’m not going to lie to you; I’m having a difficult time accepting this cut. Bradshaw was no Ray Rice or Frank Gore of the NFL but he was a good back and...

NFL Rumors: RB Ahmad Bradshaw to the New York Jets?

Appearing on NFL AM Tuesday morning, former New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw spoke about his future plans and mentioned that he might not be moving out of the Big Apple after all. Bradshaw mentioned that the Giants said they might be interested in bringing Bradshaw back at a reduced salary next season. Bradshaw was one of several veterans released by the Giants last week...

Ahmad Bradshaw Open To Playing For The Jets?

Former Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw joined “NFL AM” on Tuesday and mentioned that he’s considered the idea of playing for the Jets next season. “In playing with the Giants, they had mentioned that there was a chance for me to come back. I’m always up for that,” said Bradshaw, via NFL.com. “Whatever, whoever needs me, whoever can use me. Whoever I feel that I can get a...

Ahmad Bradshaw Thinking About Reaching Out to New York Jets

In the end most players end up where they can get the most money, but for convenience I can see why Bradshaw would consider the Jets. He wouldn’t to worry about any moving expenses. “Whatever, whoever needs me, whoever can use me. Whoever I feel that I can get a better chance of playing and helping which team,” Bradshaw said. “The New York Jets are a team that I’ve kinda...

Ahmad Bradshaw says he’s ‘excited’ to consider playing for the Jets

In our view, there are only two reasons why any player in the league would be openly excited about the opportunity to play for the New York Jets. Reason #1: The player currently doesn’t have a job so he’s willing to play for just about anyone. Reason #2: The player is either from New York or currently lives in New York and signing with the Jets would either bring the player home...

Ahmad Bradshaw 'excited to hear about' prospect of Jets

If Ahmad Bradshaw doesn't return to the New York Giants, he'd still be open to staying in New York.During an appearance on NFL Network Tuesday, the sixth-year tailback explored the idea of pairing with the cross-town, cross-conference New York Jets."Whoever I feel that I can get a better chance of playing and helping," Bradshaw said, via the Newark Star-Ledger....

Debating the greatest sports month: No NFL needed?

Super Bowl, World Series, Kentucky Derby, each of these events is synonymous with the month that it is held in. Some months hold multiple big sporting events. Some have hardly anything at all. A bunch of my friends and I were sitting around one day, having a few brewskies of course, and we were just throwing random sports events out and having a spirited discussion about which month...

The Steelers Should At Least Consider Former Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw

At the moment, the Steelers currently do not have a running back under contract on the roster. Rashard Mendenhall is an unrestricted free agent, Chris Rainey was waived, Baron Batch is an exclusive rights free agent and Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman are restricted free agents. Although there has been some speculation that Redman could sign an offer sheet from another team, I believe...

Giants may have to dump more players

According to Patricia Traina of Yahoo! Sports, even though the Giants cleared up some cap space by releasing Chris Canty, Ahmad Bradshaw and Michael Boley, it looks like they only have about $4 million to use in free agency.  With this being the case they’ll likely have to dump more players to get further under the cap. Traina mentioned David Diehl, Corey Webster, Justin Tuck...
