Hawk   AJ Hawk showing us his donation for a GREAT cause      While the rest of the NFL was thinking about “bounty list gate”, AJ Hawk was thinking about the kids.  Last Friday while everyone else was worrying about who blew the whistle, pointing fingers, and the dirty dark secrets of what really goes on in the NFL, AJ Hawk went and got a haircut.  Not just any haircut, but a haircut that would be talked about for days after.  AJ Hawk and his wife teamed up with Wigs for Kids.         Wigs for Kids is a charity for children who have lost their hair after undergoing cancer treatment.  Hawk is starting his own charity within Wigs for Kids, as well.   “Today is a special day for me as I’ve decided to cut off my hair and give it to someone who needs it more than I do,” AJ Hawk tweeted.   AJ Hawk tweeted on saying: “Thanks to wigs for kids for partnering with us, my wife and I are proud to start Hawk’s locks for Kids which will be helping kids with cancer” “No child should have to feel ashamed of themselves due to a disease.  We are hoping to raise enough money and hair donations to change many lives!” Photo:Reuters A.J. Hawk       As you can see, this wasn’t the usual shape up at the local barber.  AJ Hawk helped us this week realize that there are still some stand up me in the NFL, might not be many, but there are still some.  No mention of any plans of him growning it back out and donating again, but the odds are if he did it once, he will do it again. Event and Donation AJ Hawk says he plans to hold an event in June to convince others with hair 12 inches or longer to get a haircut and donate to the charity too. “For those of you asking where to donate hair to our cause please send it to the followingaddress.” Hawk Tweeted.  “Hawks Locks for Kids 4890 Blazer Pkwy Diblin OH 43017″
