A.J. Hawk and a number of other Ohio State alumni took part in a charity golf tournament over the weekend in Ohio to raise money for after school programs for at-risk youth. Since there were a number of football players present, it appears a few of the guys decided golf was not entertaining enough so they decided to get a game of touch football going outside the clubhouse. As you can see from the video above that Deadspin shared with us, Hawk got a little carried away at one point. That swamp does not look clean. Let’s just hope the victim had a change of clothes handy. If not, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t speak to Hawk for the remainder of the day. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he tried the old cream cheese on his deodorant truck to get even with him. It’s only right.

How Much Longer Can A.J. Hawk Remain a Packers Starter?

Could D.J. Smith take A.J. Hawk's job in 2012? Since being drafted in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft, A.J. Hawk has consistently been one of the most criticized players for the Green Bay Packers.  In fact, it would be safe to say that the former No. 5 overall pick has been widely considered somewhat of a bust during his tenure in the league. It seems that every year Packers...

Packers Andrew Datko: The Big If

Packers seventh-round pick Andrew Datko. The word “if” is used a lot when evaluating rookies before they’ve ever played a snap in the NFL. If Rookie A can learn the offense, he’ll be a star. If Rookie B fixes his technique, watch out. If Rookie C stays out of jail, he’s a pro-bowler.   The Packers 2012 draft class – like everyone else’s – features plenty...

Rodgers gives Borel his endorsement

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers isn't the type of superstar player who gives out compliments to teammates just for a few feel-good moments in the name of team chemistry building. The methodical Green Bay Packers quarterback, who has never met a question that he didn't have an answer ready for, is just as quick to come with criticism when he feels it's warranted. That...

Packers CB Tramon Williams Still Dealing With Serious Shoulder Injury

Tramon Williams still is not over a shoulder injury he suffered during the Green Bay Packers’ season opener last year, and you have to winder when the cornerback will be healed. Williams told Fox Sports Wisconsin that tests conducted early this month showed his right shoulder was at about 50 percent strength – a long ways off from where he would like to be. Still, it’s an improvement...

Packers confident, humbled, hungry for 2012

Perhaps it's a good thing the Packers won't see the Detroit Lions for the first time next season until Week 11 of the league schedule, which falls on the third weekend of November. What's become a chippy rivalry between the longtime division foes added a new layer for potentially fueling more friction. Lions head coach Jim Schwartz indirectly may have taken a shot at...

It is all about getting the most you can out from your roster.  Optimizing your bench is crucial in fantasy football because there are always injuries that occur and matchups play a huge roll in who you start. Packers Coach Mike McCarthy Says 'It's Always About Winning The Championship'

Mike McCarthy has called the 2012 Green Bay Packers his most experienced and talented team, putting pressure on the team to perform up to the levels of his recent clubs have. The Packers steamrolled through the regular season a year ago, finishing 15-1 and averaging 35 points per game. But plans for a Super Bowl repeat were dashed with a divisional round playoff loss, a stinging...

Two Stroke Penalty And Loss Of Down – KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

Very average linebacker A.J. Hawk pushed a guy into a lake making a tackle during a pick-up football game with some Ohio State alums at a charity golf tournament. I always felt the lack of boobie traps and hazards was the one thing that kept the XFL from taking off. That’s what you get for half-assing it, McMahon. – Gronk will once again have his general shirtlessness on display...
