Jenkins clearly wasn’t in shape during OTA’s and minicamp.  He recently told told the Bay Area News Group that he’s drastically improved his conditioning. “I’ve made long strides,” he . “Obviously, I had criticism when I first came in as far as being in shape. That’s irrelevant now. I’m just trying to help the team win, whether that’s playing special teams, offense or being a real good teammate.” Right now I’d be surprised if Jenkins elevates himself past the fourth spot on the 49ers’ depth chart this season.
