San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver A.J. Jenkins clearly wasn’t in shape during OTA’s and minicamp. He recently told told the Bay Area News Group that he’s drastically improved his conditioning.
“I’ve made long strides,” he . “Obviously, I had criticism when I first came in as far as being in shape. That’s irrelevant now. I’m just trying to help the team win, whether that’s playing special teams, offense or being a real good teammate.”
Right now I’d be surprised if Jenkins elevates himself past the fourth spot on the 49ers’ depth chart this season.

"Montana to Rice"
It has such a nice ring to it.
"Montana to Rice"
