On Friday night, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was taken off the field on a cart during their preseason game against the Vikings.  It was later reported that he suffered a thigh bruise.

49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh believes Smith’s injury isn’t serious.

“Still waiting,” Harbaugh said. “Preliminary, looks like we’ll be alright. Looks like we dodged a bullet there.”

Smith posted a message on his Twitter account saying that he’s ok.

Just a heads up I’m doing ok. Thanks
