Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that 49ers QB Alex Smith is expected to return to the starting line up this Monday against the Bears.
The team has been cautious regarding Smith’s recent concussion that he suffered last weekend when on a 4th-and-1 quarterback sneak. Smith was reportedly dealing with ”blurred vision” during the game.
Smith has been shown some progress throughout the week, although he was limited the final two days of practice, he is expected to be in the starting line up come Monday.
