MIAMI - AUGUST 14: Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall of the Miami Dolphins warms up prior to playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a preseason game at Sun Life Stadium on August 14, 2010 in Miami, Florida. (Photo by Marc Serota/Getty Images)
Unknown WHO REALLY DID IT, but the woman in the photo (above) -- Christen Myles -- says that she received her black eye from NFL star Brandon Marshall.
According to reports, Marshall -- former Miami Dolphins star, now a Chicago Bears wide receiver -- was at the Chelsea nightclub in New York City, early last Sunday morning.
According to police reports, Myles, around 4 a.m., left the upper floor of the club to greet a friend downstairs.
When Myles tried to re-enter the upper floor, she was met by a bouncer who told her she couldn't re-enter due to a fight between two football players -- Brandon Marshall and an unknown athlete -- as security was trying to throw the two out the club.
She later met up with her friend who was arguing with Marshall and the other unknown football player outside the club.
At some point doing the argument, Marshall gave Myles a punch to her left eye. It's not clear why he gave Myles a punch to the eye.
It's being said that both the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins KNEW about the incident as they went through with the trade of Marshall.
According to the N.Y. Post, a friend -- close to Myles -- say that she's "gone into hiding", as she missed a meeting with detectives about the alleged crime against her, on Friday. The friend also went on to say that Myles hasn't been at home for the past four or five days.
