The Allen Event Center wasnt too small a stage for Terrell Owens. But what about Tim Tebow? The quarterback, recently cut by the Jets, has been offered a contract by the Texas Revolution, according to The Dallas Morning News. The Texas Revolution is an arena football team that plays in the Dallas suburb of Allen. We feel like Tim Tebow can give his testimony of his faith on family nights here, Revolution coach Billy Back told The News. What he says and the way he acts is more powerful than his play. The Revolution employed Owens for a time last season when they were known as the Allen Wranglers. However, the Allen team got Owens after the end of his NFL career. They will have to compete for the services of the 25-year-old Tebow. The Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League have offered Tebow a job, as well as the Legends Football League, formerly known as the Lingerie Football League. The Omaha Beef of the Champions Profession Indoor Football League were the first to offer Tebow employment, at a mere 75 per game. The Revolution of the Indoor Football League (who knew there were so many arena leagues?) knew they could better that offer. When they signed Owens, he was made a part-owner. We thought the 75 offer was insulting, Back said. We could offer him 225 per game and the 25 win bonus. The Revolution have attempted to contact Tebows agent, Jimmy Sexton, but Beck told the News he honestly doesnt expect a response from Tebows camp. Follow Keith Whitmire on Twitter: @Keith_Whitmire
