The third round of the 2010 NFL Draft is coming to a close, and so far we are coming out strong with Ryan Mathews as the replacement for LaDainian Tomlinson as well as Donald Butler who will be replacing second string interior linebacker Tim Dobbins. It’s been hard to keep up with a tornado of trades while technical difficulties make posting and editing difficult. Even so, while we wait for the twelfth pick of the fourth round, I am going to try to explain all of the trades that we were surprised with today.

In the first round, we moved up to the twelfth overall pick, which became Ryan Mathews. As well as receiving the fifteenth pick in the third round from the 49′ers, which later became Donald Butler. We ended up giving up Tim Dobbins so we could swap picks in the first, second, and fourth rounds with the Dolphins. Considering Butler and his athletic ability, I would say we are doing very well so far.

We still have the the twelfth pick of the fourth round to look forward to, in addition to two fifth-round picks at 159th and 168th overall. The draft resumes tomorrow morning and I will be seeing rounds four through seven to the very end. Check back for updates and hit up the comment section and continue the discussion. I will check back in later tonight and try to sneak another post in.
