It didn’t take long for the Bills to shift their attention to the New York Jets. Less than an hour after their shutout win over the Redskins, George Wilson was already talking about getting ready for their division rival. “This week is huge,” he said. ”We go back into the division for what we call two-fers. By beating a division opponent you essentially go up on them two games.” It’s clear that Wilson and his teammates are on a mission to reach the playoffs as they’re focused on winning each game as it comes to put themselves in the best position possible for a postseason berth. “We have to continue to challenge ourselves and be able to win our division so we’re not having to depend on anybody,” he said. ”We know going into Ralph Wilson Stadium later in the season it becomes a bigger challenge for our opponents to deal with. We know the advantage that we could possibly have going down the stretch. So we just have to do our part to put ourselves in the right position as the season draws

Chan on Stevie’s coach costume

Fully in the Halloween spirit, Stevie Johnson outfitted himself to a tee as his head coach Chan Gailey and then posted a photo of his look on his twitter account. So what did Coach Gailey think of it? “No, I haven’t (seen it),” Gailey told reporters when asked about it. ”I put that in the same category with the Megamind thing – he’s got too much time on his hands....

Video: Kris Jenkins stars in absymal ‘NFL Today’ Halloween sketch

Imagine the most wooden of athlete performances on "Saturday Night Live" combined with the worst of sketch-writing from "MadTV" and you'll be better prepared to watch this four-minute Halloween clip starring Kris Jenkins and various children dressed as NFL figures that appeared on Sunday's "NFL Today." 1. This was so rough that the laugh-happy...

Bizarro Jets?

Who are the Jets this season? In 2009 and 2010, this was a team that relied on its powerful running game and its unflappable defense to win. In 2011, the run game has started slow, the run defense has been permeable, and the passing game is flying higher than it has before. In 2009 and 2010, the Jets were a dominant road team that played decently at home. In 2011, the Jets have not...

Bills sack Redskins 9 times in 23-0 win (AP)

Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two touchdowns and the Bills defense had nine sacks in a 23-0 win over the injury-riddled Washington Redskins in Buffalo's adopted home north of the border on Sunday. Scott Chandler caught both touchdown passes, including a 15-yarder to open the third quarter, that put Buffalo ahead 20-0.

Within Their Reach

Coming back from the bye, Rex took the opportunity to let his players know that the division title is still a possibility, but only if they make it one by winning Sunday. Many players did not have power at their homes Sunday or were traveling back to New Jersey, so they were unaware the Patriots lost to the Steelers. Ryan let the Jets know about the Patriots’ loss, and that it...

The final word on The Toronto series for 2011

I know the agreement is up next year, but this deal isn't going anywhere. I know some fans would love it to, but for the Bills to get almost double on their return for a home game, something will be worked out. Yes, it will probably be for a lower number than last time around, but I think this is the norm. Sure, it may change after Ralph Wilson dies, but as I've written before...
