Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. And Eagles wideout Alshon Jeffery isn’t holding back. In fact, Jeffery is taking the bold step of making a guarantee. And the guarantee is this: the Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl.

Ain’t no ‘if,’ man. When we win on Sunday, ain’t no telling what we’re going to do. But we’re probably going to celebrate, have some fun … We’re bringing that trophy back to Philly.

But that’s not all. He’s not here to talk about New England’s past victories either. He’s here to focus on Super Bowl Sunday. That’s all that matters.

Man, I don’t give a damn about all of that. That’s in the past. We’re in the present. It’s 2018. It’s a new year … time for new things.

But here’s the thing: the Patriots are used to teams talking. We saw this with Jacksonville ahead of the AFC Championship Game. But as Jeffery would say, that’s in the past. It’s the present now, and the Eagles take on the Patriots this Sunday night. Of course the Eagles aren’t going to back down. Of course Alshon Jeffery is confident. After all, it’s the Super Bowl!

On the season, the wideout would haul in 57 receptions for 789 yards and nine touchdowns. More importantly than that, he would play in all 16 games. Here’s to a dramatic Super Bowl Sunday.

As if this game needed more of a push, right?
