The Houston Texans lost a heartbreaker Sunday afternoon to the Seattle Seahawks after being firmly in control 20-3 at halftime. That three-score lead soon dwindled to a tie after Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman picked off Matt Schaub and bolted 58-yards for a TD with only 2:40 remaining in the game. They lost in overtime via a Steven Hauschka field goal.

  • I agree with Andre to a point, but don`t go after the fans. Without fans there would be paycuts and trades. Matt Schaub is a good quarterback, but not good enough to get the Texans to the superbowl. Consistency is sorely needed on the team. I think the Texans have better players than New England, Denver, and Seattle. All they need is for the team chemistry to be there every game. I hope they figure it out soon.

After a horrible performance this week, Matt Schaub deleted his twitter account

After giving the Seattle Seahawks hope on Sunday, a handful of Texans fans destroyed a Matt Schaub jersey with fire.  Well I guess Matt Schaub could sense the hatred. Schaub deleted his twitter account per Nick Wright of 610 sportsradio in Houston. Nick Wright of 610 SportsRadio in Houston passes along the word that he’s noticed Schaub’s […]

Report: Texans Could Get Of QB Matt Schaub’s Contract Next Season

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Houston Texans have the ability to get out from underneath the five-year, $66.15 million contract they signed QB Matt Schaub to last season. Florio’s source informed him that Houston has already paid Schaub $22 million in 2012 and his cap hit becomes “somewhat manageable after the 2013 season.“ The Texans could designate...

J.J. Watt Takes Shot to Face, Plays Through Incredibly Bloody Injury (Photos)

J.J Watt wasn’t going to let a little — okay, a lot — of blood keep him from playing on Sunday afternoon. The defensive end took a shot to the face during Houston’s matchup against the Seahawks. During the third quarter, Watt took off his helmet to reveal blood streaming down his face, and was forced to leave the field to receive medical attention. The Texans star needed...

The Texans need to start TJ Yates now

I’m sorry Texans fans, but you cannot let a 20-3 lead going into the third quarter. Matt Schaub is a veteran quarterback and he made a stupid rookie mistake that cost him the game yesterday. When getting rushed late in the game Schaub elects to throw a floater in the air to the flats. The […]

Texans Fans Burning Matt Schaub’s Jersey After Loss to Seahawks (Photo)

I think burning a jersey is stupid on all levels, I don’t even care if your QB is Blaine Gabbert, but fan is short for fanatic. 3 straight games with a pick 6 & Texans fans respond RT @javi5705: @LanceZierlein this is happening a at tailgate . pic.twitter.com/cCKGVLYPAw — Lance Zierlein (@LanceZierlein) September 29, 2013 @BlkSportsOnline look how ugly it's getting...

Texans’ Fans Burn Matt Schaub Jersey

In what has become a universal symbol for disgust with a player, Houston fans have now begun to burn the jersey of their starting quarterback, Matt Schaub. Thanks to our friends at BlackSportsOnline for this one, and with it I can’t help but laugh. Forget that Schaub has thrown a pick-six in 3 games, in terms of consistency at the QB level Matt Schaub has done little to deserve...

Matt Schaub Jersey Burn by Texans Fans Is Almost As Pitiful As Richard Sherman Interception That Provoked It (Video)

Houston Texans fans are understandably upset at Matt Schaub. The quarterback, whose arrival in Houston in 2007 appeared to be the piece the Texans needed to get themselves over the hump, is again failing to fulfill expectations with another middling season. The Texans are 2-2, and Schaub has thrown eight touchdowns against six interceptions, none more egregious than the pick that...

Kubiak seeks consistency for Texans

The Houston Texans entered the season with a Super Bowl mentality. After surrendering a 17-point lead to lose 23-20 to the Seattle Seahawks in overtime, coach Gary Kubiak and his team are trying to keep things in perspective after an unexpected rocky start. ''We're not where we want to be, but there's a long, long way to go,'' Kubiak said Monday. '&...

JJ Watt got a bloody nose and the Texans lost to the Seahawks

J.J. Watt got a bloody nose on Sunday and the Houston Texans blew a 17 point lead in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. It was just a year ago that the Texans were the toast of the NFL, buying varsity jackets and being the last unbeaten team. Now the Texans are 2-2 after consecutive losses to Baltimore and Seattle. In a lot of ways Watt’s bloody nose is symbolic of the Texans this...

Texans Brian Cushing suffers a concussion in a loss to Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks at Houston Texans Highlights: Steve Raible Edition

If you’re anything like me, you can’t stand the FOX play-by-play duo of Chris Myers and Tim Ryan.  I have been watching the highlights of the Seahawks-Texans game from this week and Chris Myers saying “He’s got followers, and not just on Twitter!” absolutely ruined Richard Sherman’s incredible interception which he returned for the game-tying touchdown. Luckily for those...

Matt Schaub’s Twitter Account Mysteriously Vanishes as Texans Struggle

Colin Kaepernick responded to his critics in an interesting way last week, favoriting critical tweets as motivation. Matt Schaub is apparently taking a very differant approach to the Twitticism. Schaub’s Twitter account has mysteriously, and maybe conveniently, vanished in recent days, as Nick Wright of 610 SportsRadio in Houston first noted. The Texan’s quarterback’s @MSchaub8...

Photo: JJ Watt bloodied in Sunday’s game against Seattle

Judging from this photo of JJ Watt and his bloody face, the Houston Texans' defensive end was a man on a mission against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fight In Qualcomm Stadium Parking Lot Culminates In Bottles Being Broken Over Peoples’ Heads

If parking lot incidents in two different cities on Sunday are any indication, stupid behavior does not discriminate between NFL fan bases. Late Sunday, photos and video surfaced of Houston Texans fans burning a Matt Schaub jersey in the Reliant Stadium parking lot. In that incident, at least nobody was harmed. The same can’t be said for this fight outside Qualcomm Stadium in San...
