Apparently Andrew Luck’s first taste of NFL stardom will have nothing to do with the upcoming Draft, or anything on the field. According to Mike Florio, Luck was sued over the weekend by Leaf Trading Cards.

The lawsuit came about because Leaf wants a court ruling that declares they are allowed to sell and trade cards taken during the 2008 US Army All-American Bowl. However, in an interesting twist, Leaf sued Luck after Luck’s lawyers argued that the cards tampered with Luck’s publicity rights. Basically it was a “who is going to sue who first” situation.

However this incident plays out, I am pretty sure it’s not the way Luck envisioned his first taste of life in the NFL, considering he isn’t even in the league yet.
