PLAYERS: Andy Reid
TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles
The longest tenured NFL head coach reportedly wants a new contract but his team seems reluctant to enter into talks at this time. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Andy Reid‘s agent Bob LaMonte is looking to land the veteran head coach a contract extension. Reid has two seasons remaining on his current contract. The Eagles owner, Jeffrey Lurie made it perfectly clear after the disappointment of the 2011 season that a repeat would not be tolerated. Lurie called last season, “unacceptable”. It was possible that Reid could have been released after last year, but he remains the team’s current head coach and has to be considered to be on one of the hottest coaching seats in the NFL. Lurie told reporters that he is currently focused just on the upcoming season and that coaches are evaluated by the team after the conclusion of each season. “Bob is a great agent who we have an outstanding relationship with. As much respect as all of us have for Andy Reid, it is the nature of the pro...

Andy Reid – Eagles Coach for Life?

And just like that, we may have a bit controversy in Eagles camp. The Eagles had been having a quiet training camp contract wise. Despite preseason win, Eagles have ways to improve

Reid was holding tears back during the embrace. Even...

AP Photo/ Michael Perez In a game dedicated to Garrett Reid, it was the Eagles' third and fourth-stringers who saved the day.  If we didn't know any better, we would have thought Nick Foles and Trent Edwards were the first and second string quarterbacks.
