Annual Green/White Game This Saturday

DENTON, Texas (4/13/11) - Head football coach Dan McCarney and the Mean Green football team will hold the annual Green/White spring football game this Saturday at C.H. Collins Stadium in Denton, beginning at 1p.m. The game will be played in four, 12-minute quarters and will pit the Green team comprised of the No. 1 and No. 4 offense and defense against the White team made up of the No. 2 and No. 3 offense anddefense. The White team will begin with a 17-0 lead to start thegame. The White team will be coached by linebacker coach Anthony Weaver while the Green team will be led by running backs coach MikeGrant. The remaining coaching staff will be divided evenly among the twoteams. Both head coaches are also allowed to have honorary coaches, who can be anyone from famous alumni, former players, media personalities,etc. "This is a great opportunity to show the progress this team has made over the past four weeks, we are excited to put on a show" ...
