PHILADELPHIA - OCTOBER 11: Michael Vick #7 of the Philadelphia Eagles gestures to fans after a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lincoln Financial Field on October 11, 2009 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Jeff Zelevansky/Getty Images)
When Michael Vick got concussed in the second quarter of the Eagles’ 38-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, first it is a real shame for such a gamer. It might be a blessing in disguise for Philadelphia Eagle fans. Not that Nick Foles will definitely be a World Beater, but the dude is 6’6”, 243 pounds, compared to Michael Vicks’ 6-0, 215 pounds. Foles in size and stature is closest to Ben Roethlisberger’s size, who is 6’5” and 240 pounds. Let me put it this way. In nine games this year, Vick has been sacked 27 times. In comparison, Big Ben has been sacked 18 times. Furthermore, Tony Romo, at 6’2”, 17 times has been sacked and Eli Manning of the Giants, 6’4”, 12 times. Did you see Foles hand off to LeSean McCoy? It was like the Jolly Green Giant giving a biscuit to the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Foles does not have Vick’s experience at quarterback, but was seen calling audibles in the Cowboys game. I will not go as far to say the Eagles will beat the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Like the Cowboys
