Josh Cribbs wants to win for his Browns, it was apparent Sunday in the Browns season finally against the Pittsburgh Steelers just how much Cribbs wanted this win. If the Cleveland Browns only had one or two more Josh Cribbs on the team the Browns would have been winners in 2011. Cribbs played special teams making a great hit during a kick off, Cribbs continued the kick return job and his one of his best days as a wide receiver catching 7 passes.
Cribbs had 518 yards worth of receptions this season. That’s more the Massaquoi. Cribbs shot his mouth off for weeks about wanting to win, some thought Cribbs talked too much. I think the Browns needed to hear what Cribbs was saying. Someone on this team needs to create a spark to get people going on offense. Cribbs tried to do just that. Josh Cribbs reminds me of the old style football player. He is a work horse.
Cribbs wasn’t some first round draft choice, he didn’t come from some big ten school. Criibs walked onto the ...

Should Browns Fans forget about Robert Griffin III?
Terry Pluto expressed an idea on Sunday about the Browns and Heisman-trophy-winning quarterback Robert Griffin III that’s simple enough and makes plenty of sense, but doesn’t seem to have much traction in Cleveland based on what we we’re hearing on the radio and seeing on Twitter, and in the rest of the newspaper that Pluto works for, etc. Here’s what Pluto...
Shurmur: Offensive Coordinator Will Be Hired, Plenty of Competition for Starting Spots
It may have been largely rooted in the starting quarterback debate, but Browns head coach Pat Shurmur listed only two men – left tackle Joe Thomas and cornerback Joe Haden – as having guaranteed starting spots come 2012 training camp. A bit tongue-in-cheek, but easily setting the tone for what’s to come between now and the kick-off to the 2012 NFL season.
Shurmur...
Pat Shurmur Failed Miserably As Browns Offensive Cordinator
In his first year as a NFL head coach Pat Shurmur failed Miserably as the Cleveland Browns Offensive coordinator. The one mistake Mike Holmgren made when he hired Pat Shurmur and Dick Jauron was letting Shurmur become the Browns offensive coordinator. Shurmur never was at the helm of an NFL team as the head coach. He was a quarterbacks coach that’s it. How could Holmgren expect...
Win-less Seneca Wallace Wants Shot To Be Browns Starter
Seneca Wallace the back up quarterback who started 3 games for the injured Colt McCoy says he wants a shot to be the Browns starting quarterback in 2012. As far as I am concern Wallace just had his shot and he lost the argument. Wallace played the last three games of the season and he lost all three. What really is surprising among those loses is the way Wallace wasted time outs...
Will Mohamed Massaquoi Be Dropped From Browns Roster?
Mohamed Massaquoi dropped a pass he should have caught to help the Cleveland Browns continue the drive and beat the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday. Massaqoui didn’t produce many memories during the 2011 Browns season. He only caught 31 passes for 394 yards. His opportunity to become a stand out wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns clearly slipped through his hands this season...
D’Qwell Jackson No Question He Wants To Remain In Cleveland
D’Qwell Jackson had a break out year at linebacker for the Cleveland Browns after missing a couple years with injuries. Jackson said in his post game press conference there is no question about it, he wants to remain a Cleveland Brown. Jackson should have been on the pro bowl with the season he had,if the Browns were a winning team I’ll bet Jackson would be making the...
Seneca Wallace Wants a Shot
Seneca Wallace hears the conversations surrounding the starting quarterback for the 2012 Cleveland Browns and wishes to add his name into the hat.
Under contract for two more seasons and entering his 10th as a professional, Wallace, in his postgame press conference, stated that he feels he deserves at least the chance to compete for the starting spot next season.
While the career...
Cleveland Browns' starting QB in 2012 won't be among the obvious choices, says Dennis Manoloff (SBTV)
Plain Dealer reporter doesn't think Colt McCoy or Matt Flynn of Packers will be handed the reins for next season.
Not sold on RG III - Browns Comment of the Day
"I don't know how you can say RG III is a can't-miss player. He has never played under center, played in a spread offense and his speed will be minimized in the NFL where everyone is fast. In a college spread offense with a little time, there is always someone open. Not so in the NFL. I imagine they would trade the pick before they would select RG III." - brownieforlife
Cleveland Browns Play Hard to the End, Drop Season-Ender to Steelers
In all too familiar fashion, the Cleveland Browns wrapped up their season with the stands filled with black and urine-colored clothing. I wasn’t there, so I can’t comment on the smell, but I have some suspicions. Ultimately those kinds of verbal barbs are all we as a city can muster because the Steelers won the game 13-9 despite a chance to win it with a hail mary...
Browns' Shurmur won't commit to quarterback McCoy
Browns coach Pat Shurmur may let his new offensive coordinator call plays next season, and, there's a solid chance Shurmur will have a different quarterback running them.
Browns can't capitalize on Steelers' mistakes
By Don Delco
OBR Browns Reporter
CLEVELAND Pittsburgh Steelers' four-point fourth-quarter lead was in the hands of its back-up running back Isaac Redman.
Those hands proved to be unreliable.
Redman fumbled on two consecutive Pittsburgh possessions to the Browns golden opportunities to take the lead.
As if the Browns wanted to display a microcosm of the 2011 season, their...
On The Steelers: Mendenhall's injury only tops the list
The Cleveland Browns may have lost for the 16th time in their past 17 games against the Steelers, but they exacted yet another heavy toll on their oppressors just in time for the playoffs.
