One game into the season and the Bills shortcomings in the ground game are apparent enough that if something isn’t done quickly, 2010 could be a long, last place season in the tough AFC East. For a closely fought battle that resulted in a 15-10 score, the Bills’ loss to the Dolphins really wasn’t close.
A quick look at the box score from Sunday will tell you all you need to know about the most glaring shortcoming of this edition of the Bills. Miami dominated the clock with their two-headed monster of Williams and Brown to the tune of about 37 minutes of ball control compared to only 23 for the Bills. Miami ran 36 times for 132 compared to only 17 for 50 by Buffalo. You really don’t need to look any further than that to figure out what happened.
