Less than two months after a lucky fan was able to purchase a pawned Packers ring — and another turned up in a drug bust — there’s one more piece of memorabilia up for grabs.
On Wednesday, Green Bay guard Josh Sitton tweeted that a Packers Super Bowl XLV ring is up for auction on HA.com, hailed as “The World’s Largest Collectables Auctioneer.”
The ring, which weighs a quarter of a pound, was owned by defensive lineman Jay Ross, who was on the Packers practice squad during their championship season.
Ross has since moved on to the Bills, so either he got tired of looking at it or just needed the cash. Or both.
