The Minnesota Vikings took over the 2012 draft by drafting four starters that have become a major impact in their fast start to the season. Their third overall pick, Josh Robinson, a speedy cornerback from UCF was drafted with the intention of anchoring down the starting cornerback spot with the veteran Antoine Winfield getting older. During the combine, Josh Robinson clocked in at 4.29- marking the fastest time of any participants at the combine. The Vikings understood his speed when he came to Minnesota; through seven games he has shown much, much more than just his speed. He has become a hard-hitting, smart player that the Vikings are beyond excited for. Antoine Winfield is aware of his age and how it might affect his play ability in the NFL but has accepted a mentor role for the young rookie.
