Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace was absent for all of training camp last year due to his unhappiness with his contract situation. During his time away from the team the Steelers gave fellow wide receiver Antonio Brown an extension that included an 8.5 million signing bonus.
Brown was asked last Wednesday on 98.7 ESPN Radio New York if there was any awkwardness between he and Wallace in the locker room last season because he was the receiver that received the new contract.
"Some bit of awkwardness," said Brown. "You know, a guy who had been there longer than I and definitely Read more [...]

There has been a lot of talk about the changes that are coming for the Steelers during the 2013 off-season. Over the next two weeks they will have to become compliant with the NFL salary cap. To do so they will have to make some very tough decisions with multiple players on their roster. The Steelers will also be left with decisions to make on how much cap space to clear if they...
2013 Steelers Mock Draft:
Round 1.) Damontre Moore, OLB, Texas A&M
Moore was considered a top five pick just a week ago, but Dion Jordan, Barkevious Mingo, and Ezekial Ansah are rising up draft boards. That also means that Moore is falling. Moore has a solid frame at 6’4″ and 250 pounds, but only 12 reps in the bench press and a slow 40 time are going to drop his draft stock...
As the days click down to the start of the new league year date of March 12, the name of Pittsburgh Steelers guard Willie Colon will remain a talking point as he is one of a handful players that could possibly be released, restructured, or asked to take a cut in salary prior to the Steelers needing to be cap compliant.
Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported on Saturday...
For the Steelers’ defense, the rubber has always met the road with the play of the linebackers. There is a great, grand tradition of linebacker play in the Steel City, dating back to Jack Lambert and Jack Ham; through Levon Kirkland, Greg Lloyd, and Kevin Greene; to Joey Porter and James Harrison. Linebacker play has been the heart and soul of the Steelers’ defense.

2013 was supposed to be the year of Big Ben Roethlisberger joining the QB1 society and he was well on his way last year of justifying that claim. Through his first 8 games Roethlisberger tossed 16 touchdowns along with only 4 interceptions...
INDIANAPOLIS – The Steelers are taking an interest in two of the most well-known, albeit underrated, draft prospects here at the NFL Combine.
Ben Roethlisberger is set to make $19.5 million in 2013. The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to move some of that money another year or so into the future to provide immediate salary cap relief.
As expected, the Pittsburgh Steelers are continuing on with their contract restructures in an effort to get cap compliant by the March 12 deadline. On Tuesday it was reported that linebacker Lawrence Timmons restructured his contract and that move cleared $5,299,750 million in 2013 cap space.
Pro Football Talk reports Wednesday via Twitter that Antonio Brown has also restructured...
Eric Metz, the agent for free agent wide receiver Steve Breaston, met with the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at the NFL combine in Indianapolis and on Tuesday his client will be in Pittsburgh for a visit.
According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today, Breaston is also expected to visit the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday. The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys are two other teams that reportedly...
As the 2013 National Football League Scouting Combine winds down this week in Indianapolis, the story-lines are many and actually some don’t have anything to do with a certain linebacker from Notre Dame.
For the Pittsburgh Steelers who will select 17th, there are many options available and that’s good for a team that has several areas of need. While I take the combine for what...
Meet Frank C. Agnone II, Supervising Producer for South Park. He's been a producer for as long as the show has been on-air, 16 glorious seasons. He has no Wikipedia page, which is staggering. And his IMDb page shows he's originially from San Diego.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports that a source has informed him that the Steelers and WR Antonio Brown have agreed restructure his contract in order to create some extra cap space.
According to a ”source with knowledge of the transaction,” Browns base salary of $4.5 million has been reduced to a minimum salary of $650,000. Pittsburgh will convert the remaining...
