Found November 12, 2012 on Helmet2Helmet:
It was more of the same for Mark Sanchez and the reeling Jets in Week 10. Taking on the Seattle Seahawks and the "12th Man," Gang Green imploded for the second consecutive game, losing in a blowout, 28-7. Sanchez, as usual, played in a big part in the outcome. He completed just 9-of-22 passes for 124 yards, threw a backbreaking red zone interception and lost a fumble, as the Jets were blanked on offense. Somehow, Sanchez continues to stave off backup Tim Tebow, who earlier this week expressed dissatisfaction over his lack of involvement. Tebow actually completed a few passes against Seattle -- a variation from the usual gameplan -- but coach Rex Ryan stuck with the struggling Sanchez -- and will going forward. "I believe we can win with Mark and I believe we can win with (Tim) Tebow, but I'm not going to let you or anyone else convince me otherwise," Ryan said, via ESPNNewYork.com. "This is how I feel. It gives us the best opportunity to win...

Antonio Cromartie: Kiss my butt, Sanchez is our quarterback

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has one supporter in the locker room, cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who says Sanchez is the Jets only quarterback. “They can kiss my butt, Mark is our quarterback. At the end of the day, we could give a damn what anybody on the outside has to say." Cromartie said to the New York Post following the Jets 28-7 loss to Seattle. "Mark...

Rex Ryan Reportedly Cried in Front of Jets Players Following Team’s Loss to Seahawks

The Jets continue to reinvent rock bottom every week, and it certainly seems to be taking quite the toll on head coach Rex Ryan. ESPN.com reports that Ryan actually broke down in tears following his team’s 28-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, at least according to some of his players. “In his postgame address to the team,” ESPN.com’s Rich Cimini writes, “Ryan got...

Tim Tebow Needs to Replace Mark Sanchez as Jets Starting Quarterback Due to Lack of Production, Winning

At this point, there’s no reason for Mark Sanchez to continue to start in the NFL. Sure, the Jets just gave him a boatload of money to boost his ego, but all of that positivity was thwarted when the team traded for Tim Tebow just two weeks later. And that trade raises one important question: Why trade for Tebow if you’re not going to use him? The chief responsibility of a backup...

Ryan stands by Sanchez, no QB change planned

Some critics are calling it a fatal mistake but Rex Ryan isn't wavering in his support of the Jets starting quarterback.

Antonio Cromartie supports Mark Sanchez as Jets QB, tells critics to kiss his butt

The debate still rages. No not the one for the White House, that one actually had a date where a decision was made. The New York Jets continue the saga of the quarterback position on a weekly basis. Now 3-6 the Jets season is in complete shambles yet players and coaches still rally around Mark Sanchez as the teams quarterback. Antonio Cromartie was the latest to lash out at those...

Who is to blame for the New York Jets turmoil?

Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks put the final nail in the coffin for the New York Jets 2012 season. The Jets are much closer to earning the No. 1 draft pick than they are to earning a spot in the playoffs. This is very far to fall for a team that was one game away from the Super Bowl just two seasons ago. There are plenty of theories about who is the root of this fiasco....

Week 10 – New York Jets vs Seattle Seahawks

Oi vey… my first column that has to do with the circus that is the J-E-T-S  JETS! JETS! JETS! The (3-5) Jets head west to take on the 12th Man and the (5-4) Seattle Seahawks. Cornerback Antonio Cromartie went on air this week guaranteeing that the Jets will make the playoffs. Although the AFC is the weaker of the 2 conferences, and I do see a 9-7 team making the playoffs,  the...

No Huddle – New York Jets Brutal Loss (Again) Edition

Another brutal loss in what was a winnable game against the Seahawks. Now the once desperate Jets are on life support. Here are a few parting thoughts before the club flies home back East, while leaving hope in Seattle. 1 – The Game And Season Most Likely Ended Here When Dustin Keller false started in a 7-7 game on the goal line in Tebow time, the Jets were cheated out of more...

The Seattle Seahawks Are The Team The New York Jets Hoped To Be This Season

The Seahawks easily defeated the Jets 28-7 yesterday and Rex Ryan must be envious of how Seattle wins games.  The Hawks are using a strong running game, defense and timely passing to be in the hunt for a playoff spot.  This is the same formula the Jets used in 2009 and 2010 to reach the AFC Championship game.  However, things have gone awry for New York thanks to very...

Seahawks crush Jets 28-7

The Seattle Seahawks (6-4) beat the New York Jets (3-6) 28-7, this past Sunday at CentruyLink Field from Seattle, WA. As soon as the Jets told media before this game saying they were going to make the playoffs, but that likely won't happen now as they got crushed by Seattle. It's time for Rex Ryan to pull Mark Sanchez from the starting QB position, although it is unlikely...
