According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews (clavicle) and tight end Antonio Gates (ribs), missed practice on Wednesday.

We already had an idea that Mathews would miss practice, but it’s a bit of a surprised that Gates is now injured to.  He likely suffered the injury in Monday night’s over the Raiders.
