Found August 23, 2013 on State of the Texans:
Per source, Antonio Smith’s appeal was denied today, discipline upheld — two preseason games, and the opener. — Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) August 23, 2013   Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith was denied to have his suspension reduced by the NFL. His appeal was expedited to get a decision before his suspension started on Sunday, but it was all for not. He will have to sit out the last two preseason games and the season opener against the San Diego Chargers. Smith will be eligible to return on September 15th in the Texans season opener against the Tennessee Titans. The helmet swing against Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito proved to be costly for the team, but lucky it was not a bigger suspension for Smith. Since 2005, Smith has 14 personal foul penalties which is 4th in the NFL among active players.  For being such an important piece of the Texans defense it is disappointing to have Smith out for any certain time period. Look for Tim Jamison and Jared Crick to pick up the slack in Smith’s absence the next three games.   You can follow Patrick on Twitter.  He is the Editor of State of the Texans.

WATCH: Cutest Dang Freestyle Friday From the Houston Texans Cheerleaders Yet!

I've been wondering what the Houston Texans cheerleaders are going to do in order to top themselves from one week to the next with their Freestyle Fridays videos. I had assumed that it would be a location thing since the first one was at a grocery store, then two on a practice field, and then last weeks over the freeway in an overpass. This week they have topped themselves...
