Antrel Rolle is going to the Pro Bowl after all and he has been assigned to Hall of Famer Jerry Rice’s team. This year’s Pro Bowl marks the first time during which the teams are organized by captains rather than their respective confereneces. Via fantasy draft, team captains Rice and fellow Hall of Famer Deion Sanders have spent the past two days selecting their team members for Sunday’s game. The Giants safety will likely be the backup for the Bills’ Jairus Byrd. This will be Rolle’s third Pro Bowl appearance and second since joining the Giants in 2010. The 31-year-old was upset when he had learned that he was not selected to appear in the Pro Bowl last month. It was announced Monday, however, that he would replace the Seahawks’ Earl Thomas on Sunday in Honolulu. How Ben McAdoo could revitalize the Giants offense

Last season’s offense for the Giants was nothing short of awful. Eli Manning may have had his worst season as a professional. He threw his lowest total of touchdown passes (18) since becoming a starter and he also threw a career high 27 interceptions. It wasn’t just Eli Manning, the offense as a whole was a disaster. In total, they turned the ball over a league worst 44 times...

Rebuilding the New York Giants: A look at the linebackers

Linebacker play was synonomous with the New York Giants defense going back to when Sam Huff made life miserable for Jim Brown in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Even in the team’s “Wilderness Years”, the G-men had Brad Van Pelt, Brian Kelley and Harry Carson in the fold. When Lawrence Taylor came along in 1981, the linebacking position was forever transformed. LT was unique in...

Coughlin wants to coach past '14

Tom Coughlin, at 67 the oldest coach in the NFL, said he can see himself coaching the New York Giants for multiple years beyond the 2014 season. Eli Manning: I Might Have A Few Tips For Peyton About Playing Super Bowl At MetLife

Peyton Manning doesn’t have much experience at MetLife Stadium, playing there for the first time earlier this season. Fortunately, his little brother has plenty of insight to share for Super Bowl Sunday. Manning didn’t have much trouble in his first career trip to the new Meadowlands earlier this season, throwing for 307 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-23 win against his brother...

Brandon Jacobs puts 49ers coach Harbaugh on blast

Remember when Brandon Jacobs played for the 49ers? It’s understandable if you don’t. Apparently it left an impression on him. In an interview...
