New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle claims he’s ahead of schedule with his rehab after suffering a sprained ankle during practice last week.
“I’m going to return to practice when I’m ready, whenever I can go out there and feel like I’m not favoring it,” said Rolle, via the Newark Star Ledger. “Right now, we’re ahead of schedule and things are going good.”
The good news is that Rolle is now running around, which he didn’t expect to happen so soon.
“To be honest, I didn’t even expect myself to be out here running, doing drills, cutting, so forth and so on. I had a preview of that yesterday and it felt alright,” he said. “I wouldn’t say it felt 100 percent but it felt alright. I’m just going to keep grinding.”
