Comments on the Baltimore Ravens by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
BALTIMORE RAVENS (5)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 3): 24 wins over last two seasons and a happy Ray Rice.
Chris Berman (ESPN, 4): After all, Ravens should have been in Super Bowl.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 4): No contract problems for Ray Rice equals good news for Ravens. Now they have to hope Defensive Player of Year Terrell Suggs can get back in time from Achilles tendon injury.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 4): If they can overcome loss of Terrell Suggs, Ravens will be right there.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 5): Suggs loss hurts immensely but this team knows window is closing and will play with urgency reflecting that.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 6): Ravens keep knocking on door, and if defensive stars are healthy in January, they could break through.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 6): Loss of two outside linebackers Suggs and Johnson can't be underestimated.

They say one picture is worth a thousand words and that image of Billy Cundiff is what most people will use to summarise the Ravens 2011 season. Down 23-20 with 11 seconds left, Cundiff is lining up a chip shot field goal that will send the game to overtime with momentum squarely on the Ravens side, the kick sails...
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie returned to town Sunday afternoon, arriving at Baltimore-Washington International Airport with his luggage and a sore lower back. The former Pro Bowl blocker said after his flight that his four-day absence from training camp was due to a lower back injury suffered during an accident at his home in South Florida last week...
The good news at Ravens camp besides the beginning of full-contact drills is that LT Bryant McKinnie finally reported, and it turns out the big veteran did suffer a lower back injury in a slippery fall inside his home in Florida. He's okay and actually looks pretty svelte by all accounts, having worked himself down to about 340 pounds... not bad considering he came in between...
According to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta suffered a broken hand during Monday’s practice.
Pitta will now undergo surgery on his hand and hopefully be back in time for the season-opener.
Adam injured Bale with a challenge during the 0-0 draw between the two sides at the M&T Bank stadium, home of NFL franchise the Baltimore Ravens. In May 2011 the Scotland international injured Bale in a tackle, causing ankle ligament damage which meant the Wales international was out for three months. In quotes reported by several national newspapers, Bale said: "He'...
At some point in the not too distant future, probably before the beginning of the 2012 regular season, the Baltimore Ravens will reward Joe Flacco with a contract extension that makes him one of the league's highest paid quarterbacks. Then this debate, already fairly vocal among Ravens' fans, will really heat up: Is Flacco, who last season came within a dropped Lee Evans...

It looks like we were correct in our analysis of Doug Martin. Early into camp Martin is impressing the coaching staff and players. "He made some explosive runs (Sunday) where you really see why they drafted him so high," guard Davin Joseph said. "He reminds you of a Ray Rice or Maurice Jones-Drew. He's very crafty and he really understands the run game."...
Ballot and comments from AP Pro 32 panel voter Rich Gannon of CBS Sports/Sirius XM:
RICH GANNON (CBS Sports/Sirius XM)
1. Green Bay - McCarthy and Capers will fix defense.
2. New England - If Patriots improve on D they'll be back in Super Bowl.

With camps starting up around the league there is buzz surrounding many different players around the league. During training camp you hear a lot about rookies and their potential, you hear about new free agent acquisitions and how impressive they are, and then you hear about an arrest every now and then.
Just in case you are a casual fan and don’t keep up with twitter or the...
