Baltimore Sun:
I'm hoping this wasn't an aberration, but it was nice to see tight end Todd Heap back in the offense. If he can become a factor again, it would quell a lot of this talk about finding this big name, go-to receiver. He had two catches last night against the Panthers where he looked like the Heap of old, and they were excellent passes from second-year quarterback Joe Flacco.

The Ravens' reserves had some anxious moments down the stretch tonight, but for the second straight week they were able to pull out a preseason victory. The 17-13 win over the Panthers held great portent for the Ravens, now 3-0 in the preseason.
Their first-team offense drove repeatedly on the Panthers. Their defense got gouged for a few big plays, but for the most of the night...
Ravens ready to rumble
With the exception of four plays on their first offensive series, the Ravens were nearly perfect on offense in Charlotte taking a 14-3 lead against the Panthers tonight. They had touchdown drives of 80 and 90 yards, dominated the line of scrimmage and kept Carolina on its heels throughout the half.
Joe Flacco threw for nearly 200 yards in the half, including a 9-yard touchdown...
Preston's take on Suggs, Rolle, Boller and more
With the preseason winding down, I suspect we'll see some of the injured players prepping for the last game against Atlanta.
Linebacker Terrell Suggs will probably try to get one game under his belt, and hopefully so will cornerback Samari Rolle. Unfortunately, I don't have a good feeling about Rolle. That injury might be more serious than some of us suspected. I also want...

Lewis' elbow wrapped halfway through Saturday's game
Ravens star linebacker Ray Lewis had his forearm and elbow wrapped to start the second half of Saturday night's game against the Panthers. Lewis and safety Ed Reed were on the sidelines while the rest of the starting defense started the third quarter.
Was Lewis hurt?
"Hurt? Me?," responded Lewis to the question. "Nah, my club was a little sore after I used...

What Baltimore Ravens Fans Shouldn't Do
Do I like the Washington football team? Absolutely not. Do I love the Ravens? With all of my heart.
But I don’t endorse this. Not one bit.
I assume this video was taken at Fed Ex Field in the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which Washington won in convincing fashion. The fact that this guy is making a clown out of himself when 1. Washington won, 2. The Ravens...
Ravens: How Will the RBs Share the Carries in 2009?
So far in the preseason, the Ravens starters have been very impressive. In Week 1, the team dominated the Washington Redskins, 23-0. Both the starters and backups played very well. The starters played through the first quarter and a drive, leading 6-0. Quarterback Joe Flacco was 9-of-15 with 105 yards, Ray Rice (pictured) looked very good, and Derrick Mason and Demetrius Williams...
Ravens CBs Chris Carr And Lardarrius Webb Compete For KR Job

Panthers vs. Ravens: What To Look For
This Saturday at 8pm the Panthers will be facing the Baltimore Ravens in their third preseason game. This, like all other preseason games has no bearing on their regular schedule and the final score won’t matter. What does matter is how well the team is progressing in their efforts to get themselves ready for the [...]
Fantasy Football Stock Market: Players On The Rise
RB Ray Rice (BAL) – Early indications suggest that Rice will be the go to guy in the running game for the Ravens in 2009. Yes, this does include goal line carries. Willis McGahee should continue to see a fair share of touches as well, but Rice is the overwhelming favorite between the two. As for Le’Ron McClain, he has been moved back to his original FB position and outside of...
