The Detroit Lions feel they need to add some depth to their offensive line and according to Jason La Confora they have begin by process by bringing in former Cowboy guard Leonard Davis. At this point they haven’t officially signed Davis to a contract, but I would assume a deal could be done by the end of today or tomorrow if the Lions were serious about having Davis join the Lions.
Davis was cut by the Cowboys for cap space reasons and still has some good football left in his body. Any team that signs Davis is getting a reliable guard who is a proven player in the NFL.
