There have been reports that the two teams besides the Baltimore Ravens that are seriously going to pursue Safety Ed Reed are the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. Well, Colts Defensive Lineman Robert Mathis has created a buzz about this topic with a recent tweet. Yesterday he tweeted this to the public:
I can give 20 reasons why the Colts have potential for a serious SB push. Its a mental game and we simply need to reed between the lines lol
— ROBERT MATHIS (@RobertMathis98) February 14, 2013
"Reed between the lines" is an obvious play on words, hinting that the Colts may already be in talks with Ed Reed. Could a deal be in the works between him and the Colts? Have the negotiations already begun? We don't know yet but will surely find out soon. A number of NFL reporters believed that the Patriots would be the #1 landing spot for the future Hall of Famer, but the Colts were still considered to be very possible. We'll just have to wait and see how this...

Many NFL personnel men reportedly don’t believe Joe Flacco is an “elite” quarterback

Ravens questions: Joe Flacco franchise tag or extension?
The Baltimore Ravens have an opportunity to place the franchise tag on Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco, but will they use it? It seems when the Ravens use the franchise tag on a player, that player usually signs a major contract by the end of the offseason. Terrell Suggs in 2009, Haloti Ngata in 2011, and Ray Rice in 2012 are just a few examples of what could happen to Joe Flacco... Read more

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has decided to not undergo surgery on his torn right biceps. He’ll instead rehab it in hopes that it will heal during the offseason.

Bryant McKinnie wants to come back to Baltimore
Offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie’s agent Michael George told The Baltimore Sun that his client would love to re-sign with the Baltimore Ravens.
“Bryant would want to come back,” agent Michael George told The Baltimore Sun. “He likes it there. He likes the situation, the way it is now. He’s a free agent, so it’s up to the Ravens what happens next obviously. The intention...
Saints Nation: Five Free Agents the Saints Could Target
We're about three weeks from the free agency window opening up, so I plan to talk more about this soon. In the meantime, we all know the Saints don't have a 2nd round draft pick and they are completely strapped for cash. Signing top tier talent for big money is probably not going to happen, so any free agents the Saints land will either be cheap or second tier talent. That...
Colts Part With LB Dwight Freeney, WR Austin Collie
The Indianapolis Colts released seven-time Pro Bowler Dwight Freeney and wide receiver Austin Collie on Friday, the team announced.
Freeney, who turns 33 next week, played all 10 of his NFL seasons with the Colts, and has 107.5 sacks in that time span. Freeney is the franchises all-time sacks leader. He converted to outside linebacker and only recorded five sacks and 12 tackles...
Ravens LB Terrell Suggs To Skip Surgery, Rehab Arm Injury Instead
Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs will opt to rehab the injury to his arm rather than have surgery, The Baltimore Suns Jeff Zrebiec reported on Thursday.
Suggs made the decision after getting a second opinion recently on the arm injury, a torn right biceps he suffered on Dec. 2 in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He sat out of the Ravens last two regular-season games but helped...
Report: Colts Will Not Re-Sign Either DE Dwight Freeney or WR Austin Collie
Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star reports that the Colts have informed DE Dwight Freeney and WR Austin Collie on Friday that they will not re-signed during the offseason.
“I was very surprised to hear they wanted to go in a different direction,” said Freeney in a text message sent to ESPN’s Ed Werder. “Would have been nice to retire a Colt.”

Bryant McKinnie Wants To Stay With Ravens
Bryant McKinnie is the punch line for a lot of jokes, and finds himself in some crazy situations at times, but when he plays and he’s focused, McKinnie is a pretty good left tackle.
McKinnie via his agent Michael George, made it clear to the Baltimore Sun, that they want to return to the Baltimore Ravens and just hope the feeling is mutual.
“Bryant would want to come back,...
