60 Max Power O:
John Skelton – remember him? It seems like a long time ago when he was the Arizona Cardinals' starting quarterback (week one actually). It does seem like a long time ago though. Anyway, Skelton, recovering from a low ankle sprain, may finally be healthy enough to be activated for Thursday's game against the St. Louis Rams.
Skelton certainly won't start in place of Kevin Kolb if he is deemed healthy enough to go – Kolb has simply been too productive and the Cardinals keep winning. Most likely this will be decided by coach Ken Whisenhunt shortly before game time.

The Red Birds own the best record in the NFL over their last 13 games: 11-2.
The Cardinals have won their last five overtime games.
Veteran strong safety Adrian Wilson played in his 169th game on Sunday, tying safety Larry Wilson for the third most for any defender in Cardinals history. Roger Wehrli and Larry Stallings rank first and second.
Arizona has allowed 15.3 PPG this season to rank third in the NFL. Only the Texans (14.0 PPG) and Seahawks (14.5 PPG) have allowed fewer points per contest.
The Cardinals have 16 sacks, the second most in the league. Only the Bengals (17) have registered more.

Cards Visit Rams for NFC West Bout
When the NFL schedule came out over the summer Thursday night's scheduled bout between the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams at the Jones Dome (8:20 pm ET, NFL Network) didn't garner much attention. But suddenly this is a rather attractive matchup, pitting one of the last undefeated teams in the league against another...
TEMPE, Ariz. By his own admission, Cardinals quarterback John Skelton isnt all the way there as he recovers from what the team said is a low-ankle sprain suffered in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Not with all this tape on it, Skelton said in the locker room, Wednesday, as he peeled away layers of said tape. Its getting there. Im able to run now and do some stuff that I...
This is a story about the NFL. But it's not really a story about football.
This is about a defensive lineman for the undefeated Arizona Cardinals and what that 6-foot-3, 305-pound lineman will be wearing on the field during Thursday night's game in St. Louis against the Rams.
It's not really a story about Nick Eason.
"Make it all about Iris Wilcox," Eason...
The Arizona Cardinals - check that, THE FOUR-AND-OH ARIZONA CARDINALS - have been the biggest surprise in the NFL season so far, and a major factor that sees the NFC West leading the league in wins at the quarter pole. But now they prepare to take on an improved Rams team that is undefeated in their home stadium so far.
If respectability starts at home - and the four...

The Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams will kick-off Week 5 in the NFL tonight in St. Louis. I’d love to suggest to the fans that this could be a trap game of some sort, but I honestly don’t believe St. Louis has any shot at winning this game.
Seeing most of us aren’t very interested in the game aside from a few fantasy players, we’re going to have to shift our focus to...
I’m responding to an email inquiry, in advance of the Thursday game again this week. With bye weeks starting this week (yes, we had a ‘mini bye’ last week) owners are faced with some difficult add/drop decisions for the first time this season. In an attempt to solve some of the problems, we’ll take a [...]

Thursday kicks off the weekend fun-filled of pigskin and although there are not many heavyweight battles, this NFC West contest could surprise us quite a bit.
One of the best defenses in the NFL is led by Darnell Dockett, Quentin Groves and Patrick Peterson. Peterson has carried this team defensively in the secondary but everybody was torched last week by Brian...

Dolphins fans should be excited.
In what was, without a doubt one of the weirdest games of the weekend, we got to see a rookie breakout, a veteran implode, but more importantly redeem himself.
So how did the Miami Dolphins v Arizona Cardinals turn three times and end up in a Cardinals victory over the upstart, but still 1-3 Dolphins? Let’s take a look.
1. Ryan Tannehill is for...
The Texans, Falcons and Ravens hold their own atop this week's power rankings, but, there is plenty of movement in the middle ranks... including the Arizona Cardinals making their climb upwards.
After years as a laughingstock, the NFC West is considered by some to be the best in football so far this year. Leading the way is the Buzzsaw, a team that most thought would do no better than a game above or below the .500 mark. For all the cruel jokes we lose about ignoring them, it’s good to have not every team located west of the Mississippi to be boring and mediocre. It makes...
