Injured Arizona Cardinals signal-caller John Skelton returned to practice yesterday. Skelton's participation in practice was limited though as he recovers from a low ankle sprain sustained in Arizona's season opening victory over the Seattle Seahawks. It has not been determined yet if Skelton will play in Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Glendale. If Skelton is deemed healthy enough to play, head coach Ken Whisenhunt would then have to decide who to start  - Skelton or Kevin Kolb, who performed very admirably against the Patriots last Sunday.

In other injury news, veteran tight end Todd Heap practiced on a limited basis yesterday as he recovers from a knee sprain suffered last week against New England. The odds right now are on Rob Housler starting on Sunday in his place. The Arizona brass is impressed with Housler's speed and upside.

Elsewhere, left outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield, the third-year veteran from Wisconsin, was also limited in practice due to a sore knee. He'll be in the starting lineup against Philadelphia though.
