Arlen Specter Is Bored

The Sports Muffin rant goes to Washington: Apparently Arlen Specter has nothing to do as a senator of the United States. Today he called for an independent investigation of the "Spygate" scandal. Now I hate the Patriots as much as the next guy, but COME ON ARLEN!!! Do you really have nothing better to do? I somewhat understand the government going after steroids in baseball as drug use in major league sports has had a negative influence on our youth. I'd hardly put "spygate" in the same category as performance enhancing drugs. Arlen, if I see your face on ESPN.com one more time I'm gonna headbutt the wall Gus Frerotte style and start shouting obscenities. Get back to doing the job you were elected to do.
