Vinny Curry was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft and chose to wear number 75.
At first Curry selected No. 75 because of the legends that have worn the number such as Deacon Jones and "Mean" Joe Green, but when he arrived back at home near his college university, Marshall, he realized the number carried a significant meaning.
A total of 75-people died in the tragic plane crash in 1970, including the 37 members of the football program.
