We all knew it was coming. Reports were already out that New York Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum would be fired, with head coach Rex Ryan's future a little uncertain, although it was assumed he'd be safe. Those early reports turned out to be true, as Jets owner Woody Johnson made his official announcement today: "Our 2012 season was a disappointment to all of us.  My goal every year as owner is to build a team that wins consistently.  This year, we failed to achieve that goal", Johnson said via the team's website. "This morning, I informed Mike Tannenbaum that he will not return for the 2013 season.  Mike devoted 15 years of service to the Jets, and I want to thank him for his hard work and dedication.  Although he helped guide us to two consecutive AFC Championship games, we are not where we want to be, and a new General Manager will be critical to getting this team back on the right track.   • The jets organization are a Ship of Fools....keeping the resident moron at headcoach will prove to be just one mistake in a long line of mistakes this team has made. But hell, the jets are good for comic relief if nothing else. Woody Johnson has NO BALLS and the jets will once again fail in the AFC East again next year. Maybe they'll even keep Mark 'Butt Fumble' Sanchez also, what a joke.
