Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel would like to stay in Philly despite the fact that he’s not sure what his future holds in the city of brotherly love. Samuel was asked by the Philadelphia Daily News if he’s heard anything about his future. “They don’t tell you those things? I don’t know. I’m hoping to be here. That’s all,” Samuel said. Samuel was asked if he can mesh better with fellow cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Nhamdi Asomugha next season. “Anything’s possible,” said Samuel. “I’m getting ready for next year,” Samuel said. “I had a productive season.” I don’t think the Eagles know what they’re going to do with Samuel at this point.  I believe they’ll shop him around looking for a trade partner and if they can’t get the compenstation they’re looking for, they’ll keep him.

Eagles Tweet of the Week: It’s Raining Men

It’s been a week of embarrassing side stories for the New England Patriots since their Super Bowl loss. And then there is that whole thing with Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots...

Eagles Likely To Place Franchise Tag On WR DeSean Jackson

Jeff McLane of the Phialdelphia Inquirer reports the Eagles are going to franchise DeSean Jackson. They will not let their Pro Bowl receiver - whose contract is set to expire - walk without getting something in return, according to NFL sources. That means the Eagles will do one of three things before March 5: They will franchise Jackson and keep him for the 2012 season, franchise...
