The fallout from Rob Parker's now infamous First Take segment continues.
Citing multiple sources, SI.com's Richard Deitsch reported "at least one" of the show's producers has been suspended as a result of Parker's racially-motivated rant regarding Robert Griffin III.
This comes one day after the Worldwide Leader banned Parker for 30 days, a suspension which kicked in last Friday.
Parker, who called Griffin a "cornball brother" and questioned his "blackness," issued an apology on Wednesday, admitting he "blew it." Presumably, it was the first step required for him to regain employment with the network.
The Worldwide Leader also put out a statement, saying they've taken "appropriate disciplinary measures with the personnel responsible for these failures."
In other words, Deitsch's hearsay is correct. ESPN punished those who oversaw the ludicrous comments and let them reach the airwaves.
