Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff mentioned during an appearance on the NFL Network that they haven’t ruled out re-signing DE John Abraham. “We never say never… there is a lot on the horizon,” said Dimitroff, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We have some decisions to make across the organization, but we never say never as far as acquiring or bringing people back.” Since being release, Abraham has visited with the Seahawks, Patriots and Broncos this offseason, but overall interest in him appears to have cooled in recent weeks. Seattle has signed Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett, so they can be ruled out, and recent reports have indicated the Broncos no longer have serious interest. The problem with this idea is the fact that Atlanta had $2.4 million in cap space, as of last this Wednesday, to work with. We have Abraham listed as the No. 6 best availab...

Does Jay Glazer training Brian Banks present an ethical conflict?

One of the oft-repeated sayings in journalism is "Don't become the story." At first glance, well-respected Fox NFL reporter Jay Glazer's involvement with training Brian Banks (the once-hot USC linebacker prospect who was released from jail last year after serving five years for a crime he didn't commit) would seem to violate that doctrine. Glazer covers the...
