After looking over the waiver wire, I noticed a few intriguing names at positions that the Raiders could use help at, or a chance to save money. For instance, the Bengals waived Marvin White and the Chiefs waived Bernard Pollard, the Cardinals waived Aaron Francisco, all of whom have had had better production at safety than Hiram Eugene and Michael Huff. Cnsidering Huff's salary, it would be wise for the Raiders to make a swap. Another name on the wire is RT Tony Pashos.  I think Pashos was cut because the Jaguars wanted to load-up on young tackles in the draft.  I'm not sure if the cut is a reflection of lack of talent, but the result of a change of direction by Jacksonville.  Pashos would be an upgrade over starter Cornell Green, and backup Erik Pears. The Packers waived QB Brian Brohm.  His progress had been poor, but I wonder if that resulted from a lack of opportunity behind Aaron Rodgers.  Bruce Gradkowski showed some promise in preseason, but ...
