Bill O'Brien once again took his message to the radio air waves. On Wednesday morning Penn State's football coach was a guest on CBS Sports Radio's national morning show with Tiki Barber, Dana Jacobson and Brandon Tierney. O'Brien, winding down the coaches caravan, talked more about scholarship issues, recruiting and the quarterback situation. There was not much new offered in the interview for those following O'Brien over the past week or so, but if you are interested in hearing the interview it is available below for you. Tiki Barber Wants To Know Why People Like Ronde More Than Him; Here Are 10 Reasons

There are so many reasons, but to sum it up succinctly, Tiki has been a douchebag. Pretty simple, but let’s run down a few of the reasons people don’t like Tiki Barber. He’s uppity. He once said he was trying to run away from being black. Criticized players and coaches (Giants happen to win a Super Bowl after he said people laughed at Eli being a leader). Meddled in player’s...

O'Brien not expecting more transfers

Penn State has 67 scholarship players on its football roster and coach Bill O'Brien sees no reason why that will change significantly by the time the season starts Aug. 31. O'Brien said Wednesday he doesn't expect a second wave of departures from the Nittany Lions, even though NCAA sanctions still allow his players to transfer without sitting out a season. Ten players...

Tiki Barber to Ronde Barber: “Why do so many people like you, but don’t like me”

There’s no doubt that New York Giants fans hate former running back Tiki Barber. I’ll get into those reasons in a moment. During a radio appearance this morning Tiki asked his brother Ronde why so many people hate him, according to the New York Daily News. “Why do so many people like you, but don’t like me,” Tiki asked his brother before a commercial break.   Coming out...

Tiki to Ronde: Why do people hate me and like you?

By now you heard that Ronde Barber retired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 15 wonderful seasons, which included 3 All-Pro years, along with 5 trips to the Pro Bowl, to go along with his 47 interceptions, 8 of them returned for touchdowns. His twin brother Tiki, who had a pretty decent NFL career, managed to land the first interview on his CBS radio show, and in Tiki-like fashion...

Penn State-Pitt Starts Early

Okay, so as the match-ups for the ACC-Big Ten Challenge were being leaked this morning, it became clear that Pitt wasn’t going to land one of the heavyweights from the B1G. That’s not surprising. Pitt will not be considered in the preseason as one of the top 5 or 6 teams in the ACC. So, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan St., Ohio St. and Indiana weren’t going to be likely opponents...
