Austin Scott suing Penn State, Centre County

Scott sues PSU - The CollegianEx-player files lawsuit - CDTIn former Nittany Lion news, Austin Scott, a heralded running back recruit that never lived up to his potential is suing Penn State University, the Penn State police and Centre County. He was charged with rape in 2007, but the charges were dropped before the trial. Scott claims that this hurt his chance to make the NFL.While just the allocations of rape can damage a man's reputation for life, I ultimately believe the real reason he did not have much of a chance of making the NFL was because he had a terrible college career. Scott broke Tony Dorsett's Pennsylvania high school rushing record, but could never get with the program at Penn State. We got to watch Tony Hunt instead and that was fine with me.©MMIX William F.
