It’s all over. We saw all of the commercials, Madonna finally stopped singing, and Eli Manning beat Tom Brady and the Patriots for the second time and won Super Bowl XLVI in the house his big brother built. But now we’re left without any football until the fall. So, now what do we do?
For most people, holidays like Christmas and New Years Eve are some of the most anticipated events of the year. But the one day that is always highlighted on my calendar is Super Bowl Sunday. It’s the one day of the year we actually look forward to commercials and are allowed to consume inappropriate amounts pizza, Buffalo wings and beer. And most important of all, we get to watch the biggest game of the year with family and friends. Super Bowl XLVI certainly did not disappoint, but the pizza’s all gone, the Giants won, and the harsh reality is we all have to get back to our everyday lives for 6 long, football-less months.
As a basketball fan, I’m not completely devastated with the NBA season in full...

Patriots backup QB Brian Hoyer: “I don’t know if I’ll ever meet someone as tough as (Brady) is”
There was a scary moment in last night’s Super Bowl XLVI, when QB Tom Brady was crushed by Giants DL Justin Tuck. He got up shaky, and doctors surrounded him.
Quickly, backup Brian Hoyer began to throw. Brady ended up going back in, but he finished 7 for his last 17, and he wasn’t the same.
After the game, I asked Hoyer what those moments were like.
“I just gotta be ready,...
Brady unable to add to legacy
Tom Brady already has built an impressive Super Bowl legacy, but his bid to match the accomplishments of the game's all-time greats was snuffed out by the New York Giants - again.
Brady came up short in his bid to join Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana as the only four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks when the New England Patriots fell to the New York Giants 21-17 in Super...
New York 21, New England 17: Giants' late heroics top Patriots in Super Bowl
No one does fourth quarters better than Eli Manning. And no one has the Patriots' number quite like the Giants. Manning led an 88-yard touchdown drive in the final minutes of another thrilling Super Bowl as the Giants beat the Patriots, 21-17, at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Gisele consoles Tom Brady after his Super Bowl loss (Video)
After ending his season with a loss in the Super Bowl, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was there to be consoled by his Brazilian supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen.
Last week a private e-mail by Gisele, asking friends and family in advance of the Super Bowl to pray for Brady, was leaked to the media. In the message she wrote, “I kindly ask all of you to join me on this...
Patriots lead Giants 10-9 after 1st half of SB
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Tom Brady overcame a rare early Super Bowl safety with a perfect 10-for-10 drive late in the second quarter, and his 4-yard touchdown pass to Danny Woodhead gave the New England Patriots a 10-9 lead over the New York Giants at halftime of the NFL championship game ...
New York Giants Eli Manning, Tom Coughlin cement legendary legacies
I Nice to see an old warrior who socked away enough of his haul. Jim Plunkett, the former Oakland Raiders quarterback who won two Super Bowls, brought 15 people to this one at $1,200 a head just for tickets.
Instant analysis: Giants hold on to beat Patriots, Ravens ask 'What if?'
Matt Vensel, Sports Blitz : A fun game down to the whistle, this one was eerily reminiscent of the last times these teams met in the Super Bowl. Eli Manning -- who said before the season the he was elite and lived up to it -- was so cool down the stretch and the Giants put enough heat on Tom Brady to seal the win. Can you believe Eli has more titles than Peyton and one fewer than...

Indianapolis, IN (February 5) – The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl 46. The Giants started out great and got out to a 9-0 first quarter lead. The Giants after that though weren’t doing much offensively. The Patriots were able to take a 10-9 lead at the half. The second half started off good for the Patriots and then in crunch time once again...
Pardon Me While I Dump A Little Haterade On America’s Favorite Game
Hail to the Giants! Super Bowl XLVI (That’s 46 to the Roman Numerically challenged) is in the books and America’s most populated city has yet another championship to annoyingly rub in the noses of less fortunate, however far more deserving professional fan bases. That’s not to say they didn’t earn it, Eli Manning didn’t play well and Tom Coughlin can’t coach, but...
Super Bowl Review
In keeping with the integrity of the campaign to make Super Bowl Monday a national holiday, this will be quick.
It was a brilliant game. The Giants made one more play than the Patriots did. Congratulations to everyone involved. The physical mistakes we can live with.
