Veteran quarterback David Carr is returning to the New York Giants.
Carr posted on his Twitter account that he will be rejoining the team for which he served as a backup quarterback in 2008 and 2009.
The former No. 1 overall pick in the 2002 draft, Carr, 32, was released by the San Francisco 49ers last week.
In two seasons with the Giants, he completed 30 of 45 passes for three touchdowns and no interceptions.
